David was born and raised in the Moonee Ponds/Essendon area and still lives there to this day!
In 1981 he commenced his apprenticeship to become a dental technician in Ascot Vale.
After completing his apprenticeship, David worked for Mr. Kevin King, a local prosthetist. This exposed him to not only the laboratory side of dental prosthetics, but also to the chairside element where the technician can see the end product in the mouth.
In 1988 David upgraded his qualifications to become a Dental Prosthetist.
In 1991, David opened his own practice in Mt. Alexander Road and in 1998 moved to its current location where he has kept busy servicing private patients from all across Australia.
David is a member of the Australian Dental Prosthetists Association and is the former secretary of the "Special Needs" study group which shares information on patients with complicated issues.
David enjoys holidays travelling overseas with his wife, combining their travels with their love of wine, food, cooking and cycling.
David regularly attends lectures, workshops and courses as part of his continuing professional development and education process.
